The Houston Astros completed a sweep of the Minnesota Twins on Wednesday, winning the finale 17-6. The Astros got home runs from Correa, Bregman, Gonzalez, Gattis and two from George Springer. The offense accounted for 19 hits with seven walks. Every Astros hitter recorded at least one hit, while five players recorded multiple hits. David Paulino got the start, pitching four innings allowing two runs off five hits with eight strikeouts.
The Astros scored 40 runs in the three-game series vs Minnesota, which is a Houston record for most runs scored in a three-game set.
