Texans special teams standout and reserve cornerback D’Angelo Ross and backup offensive lineman Dieter Eiselen signed new contracts, according to NFL Players Association records and league sources.
Ross was scheduled to be a restricted free agent and has signed a new deal, according to a league source.
Ross had eight tackles last season as one of the NFL’s top-ranked special teams units best contributors in kick coverage under special teams coordinator Frank Ross along with linebacker Neville Hewitt, who tied for the league lead in special teams tackles with Detroit Lions linebacker Jaylen Reeves-Maybin.
Ross has 11 career tackles, including his previous three games and one start with the New England Patriots.
Eiselen was an exclusive-rights free agent.
He signed a two-year contract extension worth $2.095 million, including a $10000 signing bonus and nonguaranteed base salaries of $985,000 and $1.1 million.
A native of South Africa, Eiselen is a former undrafted free agent from Yale who signed with the Chicago Bears out of college.
Eiselen (6-foot-4, 320 pound) is a former All-Ivy League and All-American selection who was promoted to the active roster from the practice squad in November. He played in 10 games last season and has appeared in 24 career games.

The Texans signed former Denver Broncos defensive end Marcus Haynes to a reserve-future deal, adding him to their offseason roster.
Haynes went undrafted out of Old Dominion and signed with the Broncos, joining their practice squad after he didn’t make the 53-man roster.
In three preseason games, he had five tackles and one pass deflection.
Haynes (6-foot-4, 240 pounds) had 5 1/2 sacks and a forced fumble as a junior and four sacks, 47 tackles and one forced fumble as a senior.
He’s a longer edge player with a some twitchiness and has an outside linebacker background. Haynes has some upside and just needs to continue to get stronger and work on his pass rushing technique.
