The Yankees Had Another Sticky Situation With a Pitcher Over The Weekend

The New York Yankees and their pitchers cannot stay out of the sticky situations lately. Over the weekend, Clarke Schmidt was allowed to wash his hands and come back out to the mound.

He was not ejected from the game, which seems odd if you think there is something on his hands or in his glove. The only person ejected after the situation was Reds manager David Bell.

As you can see, the spin on his breaking stuff has been going up recently. Nothing fishy about that at all.

Here's his postgame excuse factory. Very believable.

This all seems like it's on the up and up. Anyways, while you're here, check out the latest edition of the Crawford Box-Cast, brought to you by Karbach Brewing.
