Astros Fall Behind in World Series 2-0 After 12-3 Loss to Nats in Game 2

Justin Verlander shook off two runs in the top of the 1st and settled in before coming out to start the top of the 7th. Kurt Suzuki hit a solo home run off Verlander to put the Nats ahead, 3-2. Ryan Pressly would come on to replace JV and the wheels fell off. A walk, three singles with two not leaving the infield and an error later, the Nationals were ahead 8-2. Washington scored two more times in the 8th and a run in the 9th.

The series will shift to Washington D.C. Friday night with Zack Greinke taking the mound for the Astros.
