Tony Kemp Hits Walk-Off Homer in Extra Innings to Win it for Astros

Tony Kemp was not in the lineup Saturday afternoon but his number was called to start the bottom of the 10th inning. Kemp led off as a pinch hitter and smacked a walk-off solo home run to beat the Indians, 4-3.

Kemp was just 5-35 on the season coming into the game today and was just trying to reach base. "Not sure I was ready to walk it off. I was looking for a walk there but I'll take a home run" Kemp said after the game. A walk-off bomb was just what the doctor ordered for Tony Kemp.

Brad Peacock threw six good innings, allowing only one run on four hits. He struck out seven and walked just one Cleveland hitter. Ryan Pressly continued to dazzle by tossing 1.2 IP, giving up just one hit and striking out one. Roberto Osuna earned the victory throwing 2.0 IP, allowing one hit and struck out one.

Carlos Correa was 2-4 with two hits, one being a home run with two RBI. Aledmys Diaz was 1-4 with an RBI.

The Astros will conclude their season against Cleveland tomorrow evening. Wade Miley will take the bump for Houston. First pitch is scheduled for 6:00pm from Minute Maid Park.
