Astros win Spring Training Opener, Beat Nats 3-2

Rogelio Armenteros got the start for the Astros and the club got the win 3-2 over the Nationals in their first game of spring training. A two-run jack from Max Stassi put the squad up 2-0 in the 3rd, but the Nationals would quickly square it up.  A solo shot from third baseman J.D. Davis in the 5th put the Astros up for good and they start the spring 1-0.

Seven pitchers entered the game for the Astros and only one, Matt Ramsey, yielded runs to the opposition.  The Astros take on the Braves tomorrow and the Cardinals on Sunday to round out the first weekend of spring ball.
