For those of you who don't know me I want you to know that I didn't vote for anyone. I have never voted in an election. I don't really give a damn about politics because nothing ever changes. No matter what we will always have a country divided. That said, I'm am fascinated by Donald Trump. I'm amazed that he got elected. It feels like we are living in a movie. I'm also at the point where I'm beyond sick of hearing from social media about how the world is ending.
I don't understand how the President has time to surf the net looking for stories to ramble on about. Why the hell should the President care about Kaepernick? Not only does he care about Kaepernick, but he somehow makes the story about himself. It's like me ripping a player then taking the credit when he plays well. I mean, he must have heard my show that day and felt motivated to prove me wrong.
The reality is that teams don't want to deal with the blowback from bringing in a player that isn't that good. Teams have always been willing to battle public backlash if the player produces. Protesters admonished the Eagles for signing Michael Vick. He played well and eventually got a huge deal. The production has to outweigh the headache.
