According to Frank Isola of the New York Daily News, Carmelo Anthony's camp is "cautiously optimistic" that a trade to the Houston Rockets could happen before next Monday, when the New York Knicks host their media day and begin camp.
Isola also says that the Anthony family have already "moved on to Houston." However, it will take some convincing for the Knicks to come up with a deal that either includes taking on Ryan Anderson's contract, or finding a third trade partner to finalize the deal.
